2012 Coney Family Reunion
Welcome coney family members. We are at the beginning phases fo planning for the upcoming reunion on June 2-3, 2012 in Jackson, GA. This site will continue to be developed as we plan the festivities. We will send communications via snail mail and email and you will be able to interact with other areas of the website such as adding items to the family calendar, photo gallery and other features that may be added in the future. When we open up payment options for events, tshirts, etc., we will contact you via email. Below are some other items we are working on:
- Event Details: A complete listing of events information pertaining to the actual reunion festivities. Times, locations, directions, costs, etc.
- Committees: We will be conducting various committee meetings. The first step is to determine what committees we need and gather volunteers for each. Want to help? Please indicate that you want to volunteer when you reply to the initial notification letter that was sent out on October 17, 2011. I will include you in our first planning meeting.
- Hotel Information: We will post information on host hotel and others in the area of the event. We are currently working on arranging discounts for our reunion.
- Things To Do: Although the reunion will be in Jackson, GA, this is just south of Atlanta. So for those that want to exend their stay, we will post vaious things to do in Atlanta along with web links, telephone numbers and any discounts we might be able to obtain. The location for the reunion is also in a prime location offering an array of things to do like shopping, bowling, movies, water park and much more. .
Located northwest of Macon, High Falls is named for tumbling cascades on the Towaliga River. Boat rental, ramps and fishing docks provide easy access to the park’s lake, known as one of Georgia’s top fishing spots for hybrid and white bass. During summer, guests may cool off in the park’s swimming pool.
